Nisargruna (Bio Gas Plant)

BARC's NISARGRUNA Bio Gas Plant revolutionizes solid waste management by introducing a "Zero waste, Zero effluent " approach. This innovative facility is capable of efficiently processing biodegradable waste, including kitchen scraps, paper, grass, cow dung (gober), and dry leaves. It operates with the aim of achieving "Zero waste and Zero effluent " while also yielding highquality compost and methane gas. The nutrient-rich compost produced from this waste includes a significant nitrogen content, making it an excellent soil conditioner. This plant can be established to promote eco-friendly disposal of wet waste generated in the kitchens and canteens of large institutions such as hospitals, hotels, factories, and residential complexes, effectively mitigating health risks associated with conventional waste dump sites. The biphasic bio methanation technology it employs has great potential for addressing urban solid waste management challenges, while concurrently generating organic fertilizer and biofuel
