Recycling or treatment of organic waste (Biodegradable material) through anaerobic digestion (fermentation) technology not only provides biogas (Methane) as a clean & convenient fuel but also excellent and enriched bio manure (N, P, K and bacteria for increasing soil fertility). 

Working Principle

Biogas produced as a result of anaerobic decomposition of biomass in the presence of water

DO’s

1. All the waste must be organic and properly segregated.

2. All the waste should be properly grinded and mixed.

3. Always put some weight on a balloon for adequate pressure.

4. The balloon should be connected to the burner through the gas pipe with proper arrangement of valves.

5. Effluent manure can be used for farming purposes.

DON’Ts 

1. Never feed the organic waste more than the designed capacity per day (i.e. if it is 10Kg/day then only 10Kg/day should be fed)

2. Do not throw the following in the EWS Bio-Gas & Composting Plant:

a. Kerosine

b. Plastics

c. Bottles

d. Tin cans

e. Acids & antiseptics

f. Any non-biodegradable material

g. Do not let the gas valve open when not in use.
